UX Documentation

Documentation is what enables a service to reach people beyond the moment it is explained to them, particularly when it cannot be taken for granted that communication through language is guaranteed. This section is illustrated by a lighting project for a refugee camp, which brings electricity to community facilities, homes and streets: user manuals featuring pictograms so that they can be understood without the need to read the text; reports and infographics explaining the process and scope of the project. Taken together, these are the elements that make a service truly accessible: ensuring that it is understood, trusted and can be used by everyone it serves.
